Tuning
I recommend one tuning every six months. Your piano will be tuned to the industry standard, A440. I can tune to a specific pitch of your liking as well. Please let me know if you have a preference.

Pitch Correction
If it has been a considerable amount of time since your last tuning, say more than a year, I may have to tune it twice. The first time is to bring it close to pitch. The second time through is the fine tuning. Given the extreme climate changes here, many pianos I service need a pitch correction every six months. It depends on the piano and the surrounding environment.

Other Services
Regulation: Adjusting the action of a piano for optimum performance. Each note in a grand piano has over 30 points of adjustment. Regulating the piano takes 5-7 hours, depending on the condition of your piano's action.
Voicing: The piano's sound is created by hammers striking the strings. Each hammer 'head' is made of a very firm felt. By changing the shape and characteristics of these hammer felts, the tonal quality can be improved.
Keytop Replacement, Naturals and Sharps
Purchase Consults: Careful inspection of a piano before purchasing can save you possible future problems. This is mostly in the case of a used instrument, but does not exclude a new one. With the piano's combination of many moving parts, quality control is paramount. Before buying any piano, it should be evaluated first.
Humidity Control Systems: A device that controls the humidity within the case of your piano, saving it from extreme climate changes. More information can be found here.

Piano Accessories: Benches, Casters, Covers, Lamps, Hygrometers, Metronomes, and more. I proudly sell products from Paul L. Jansen & Son, Inc. out of Oshkosh, WI.
Rebuilding: Requires an evaluation of the instrument.
Wapin Piano Bridge: I am a certified installer of the Wapin Piano Bridge System. This alters the existing bridge on your piano, enabling the strings to vibrate with more energy. More information can be found here.
